What data do you wish you could get from your mice, but can’t today?

We’re building automated home cages for mice, designed to track each animal 24/7 without handling, and talking to experts first. We’re placing our first cages with a few labs that help us shape them.

01 · The cage

Each mouse, measured where it lives.

The design puts a weighing floor, an overhead camera, ultrasonic microphones, air sensors and an ID reader into the home cage, and ties every reading to one animal and a time. Today it is CAD, a parts list and simulated data. No mouse has lived in one yet.
